Open Gym

1200-1330 AND 1700-1830

Unlimited members can utilize Open Gym to develop additional skills, build strength, or enhance their conditioning. All other members may use Open Gym to make up a missed programmed WOD.

MP Iron Club†

Lift 1:

Every 2-minutes for 16 minutes perform 2 reps of:

3-Position Clean

Below the knee→mid-thigh→power clean

Increase the load in each set

 

For quality

 

Lift 2:

Take 8-minutes to warm up to 75-80% 1-rm shoulder press, then…

Every 2-minutes perform 6 reps of push press at 75-80% SP

 

6 set for quality

 

Lift 3:

Deadlift

Every 2 minutes, perform 4 connected reps

Start at 25%, increase 5-10% each set until reaching a heavy load, max 10 sets

 

For quality

 

Strict Gymnastics Program:

Take 10-minutes to work on the strict gymnastics training program

 

 

†MP Iron Club programming will be available at both Open Gym times. It is designed to improve every athlete’s lifting ability. The core of this program is to develop the skills and strength needed to improve the Olympic and power lifts.
